Jeet Kune Do (JKD), or Bruce Lee’s Jun Fan Gung Fu, is more than a system of combat — it’s a philosophy of movement, adaptation, and efficiency. Rooted in Bruce Lee’s pioneering vision, JKD rejects rigid style boundaries and instead emphasizes what is effective in the moment.
Jeet Kune Do, translated as “The Way of the Intercepting Fist,” is Bruce Lee’s martial art and philosophy. JKD emphasizes directness, efficiency, adaptability, and freedom from rigid styles — focusing on what works in real-life combat.
Unlike traditional martial arts, JKD does not follow a fixed set of forms or patterns. Instead, it blends techniques from boxing, fencing, Wing Chun, Filipino martial arts, and more, encouraging students to adapt and develop their own effective approach.
