Group classes are a valuable training tool.  It gives you access to hours of practice and multiple body types to practice on.  However, I found that it didn't always provide opportunities for me to invest in my personal growth.  If I was struggling or had more complex questions, it was rare for us to stop class and dig into it. 

Then I was introduced to the concept of  Training Intensives.  It was a game changer.  I was able to focus on the skills that really impacted my performance and allowed me to grow exponentially. I am now offering that opportunity to you!

Course Design

Intensive sessions are organized into training blocks. Each block consists of three hours of dedicated instruction.

A half day is comprised of a single block, and a full day is two blocks.  One morning session and one afternoon session.

Bring your team

No matter if you choose a half-day intensive, or full-day deep dive, you can bring up to four training partners.  

This lets you learn together, pushing each other to achieve more.  Studies show training with partners leads to better results and keeps you motivated long-term.

Immersive Training

This method of training allows you to build a unique training experience above and beyond what is commonly provided by most martial arts training.  Speak with us about incorporating EDC and defense tool training. 

For almost 20 years David has a specialized in training some of the most grounded and comprehensive martial art systems available.  This in conjunction with his experience training with high level defense tactics trainers allows David to provide a systemized level of study or build a unique training package for the individual. 

How it works:

Step 1: Contact me to schedule a Zoom meeting or phone call to discuss your training goals.

Step 2: I'll build an outline for your training session to guarantee a successful training experience.

Step 3: Once the program is built we'll arrange a time to discuss the details and logistics of the training day.

Step 4: Additionally, I'll provide a training routine to take with you post-event.  This way you can continue to train and grow.

F.A.Q

Do I need previous experience? Absolutely not.  The training is built around you. So if it's your 1st day or you 10th year you'll find the training material manageable.

Do I need to be in shape to begin? No! The training itself can help you reach your fitness goals.

Should I have a training partner? It is recommended.  Having a partner helps in developing long-term skills and is a great way to minimize cost.

How often should I schedule training? That is entirely up to you and your schedule. Some clients schedule once a month while others schedule a couple times a year. 

Worried about the investment? No worries.  If you're worried about the content or teaching style of the instructor we can setup a short free intro session for you to test out the training methods and personalities.

Before working 1:1 with Sifu Mitchell, I had gotten my black belt in another martial art after 3 1/2 years of steady training... but I still felt unable to protect myself and my family. If put into an uncomfortable situation, my body would go into fight/flight/freeze, and I'd suddenly lose all my black belt knowledge.
